Kathryn Hodgson is the co-founder of a marine conservation cause, Friends for Sharks (founded August 2014). She is undertaking a World Tour for Sharks with her partner Nicholas Curzon throughout 2015, during which they will visit a number of countries around the globe to give free educational and inspiring talks about their experiences and work with sharks, the threats sharks face and other current marine conservation issues. They are providing lectures and other conservation events for a wide variety of audiences in each country, including aquariums, schools, universities, conservation organisations, scuba diving centres, museums and community groups. They will be completing in excess of 100 events and are fundraising throughout their tour for two charities; The Shark Trust and Project AWARE.
Please see the Friends for Sharks website for their tour blog, events calendar, and to follow their progress throughout this innovative and adventurous undertaking.
